(“Galen”) are pleased to announce that the two companies have signed an agreement to integrate Galen’s HIPAA compliant, cloud-based platform that enables the collection and sharing of ultrasound imagery for real-time telemedicine and other diagnostic and training applications.
Combining Tienovix’ Augmented Reality (“AR”) and Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) software system with Galen’s Cloud connectivity facilitating live virtual training, diagnostics, remote monitoring and analysis, and data acquisition and retention is expected to revolutionize telemedicine in medical ultrasounds. This partnership between Galen and Tienovix will exponentially increase the accuracy and efficiency of ultrasound procedures while saving millions of dollars in time and resources by providing clinicians with critical and diagnostic information in a timelier manner. This technology will soon be available to teach the next generation with mixed reality education and the ability for hands-on learning.
Galen’s credentials include strictly adhering to HIPAA and GDPR regulations, an ISO 13485:2016 certification (Medical Devices – Quality Management Systems). Moreover, the Galen Cloud platform is designed under IEC 62304 (Medical Device Software – Software Lifecycle Processes) and ISO 14971 (Application of Risk Management to Medical Devices).
